David Alan Pierson

David Alan Pierson, Songwriter-Producer in Detroit, MI

David Alan Pierson is songwriter producer born in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from The Legendary Cass Technical High school. He played the trumpet studying jazz, blues, and classical. He moved to New York and worked with such greats as the Force MDs, Reakwon, from the Wu Tang Clan, George Clinton and many others. He traveled from coast to coast studying, writing and producing many artists. He later moved back to Detroit where he joined forces with several Bands including “Plenty of Company’’, The Running Hot Band and others.

He is currently working with the family of Motown Legend Richard “Popcorn” Wylie who was recently inducted into the Rhythm and Blues hall of fame. D A P beats is production company helping artists create soulful music.
